# Performance ffmpeg.wasm uses transpiled FFmpeg C source code to WebAssembly code, it is for certain that ffmpeg.wasm won't perform as good as FFmpeg as it is not fully optimized at the moment. (Even in ffmpeg.wasm multithread version).
